Frank Cahill

Frank has been living in the Washington DC area most of his life. After serving in the US Air Force from 1970  to 1974, Frank returned to Northern Virginia to attend college. He graduated from Capitol College with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology. After working in the high tech field for almost 20 years, Frank started working as a piano technician in 1991. He is a Registered Piano Technician of the Piano Technicians Guild.

In addition to studying at the Randy Potter School of Piano Technology, Frank provided assistance in a piano rebuilding shop in Baltimore, MD. He currently provides assistance at the Steinway Gallery in Rockville, MD. He also attends conventions sponsored by the Piano Technicians Guild to continue to learn new techniques and to advance his knowledge of piano technology.
